54. James⁷ Penman (James⁶, William⁵, Alexander⁴, William³, Alexander², Alexander¹) was born Bothkenner 18th November 1874. James died 1st August 1939 at 64 years of age.

He married Robina Couper Gibson 9th August 1897. Robina died 19th March 1965 17 Princes Street, St Giles.

James Penman and Robina Couper Gibson had the following children:

69 i. Elizabeth⁸ Penman (living status unknown).

70 ii. Margaret Couper (Peggy) Penman was born 30th August 1899. She married Ralph Meredith Jenkins 10th October 1927. (See Ralph Meredith Jenkins for the continuation of this line.)
