He married twice. He married Lucy Reeve Dennington?, c1843. Lucy was born Dennington c1816. Lucy was the daughter of Robert Reeve and Lydia Godbold. Lucy died c1862 Plomesgate, at 46 years of age. He married Elizabeth Ann Burrows 1864. Elizabeth was born Sweffling c1845. Elizabeth was the daughter of Nathaniel Burrows and Hannah Mayhew.
